Our Second Grade students enjoy their classroom, full of challenges, freedoms as well as higher expectations.  Our days are structured differently than the previous grades to ready our students for the pivitol and challenging 3rd grade year.

Second grade begins to focus on a classroom community atmosphere as children work in groups on tasks and projects.  Work stations become more independent and less monitored as the students become more accountable for completing tasks within the framework of the project.

Our students benefit from our lower ratios, building confidence, mastering skills and working individually with their teachers as needed.  We are able to push  our curriculums beyond the basic expectations to create a more applicable set of skills related to our subject matter.
