Join us for summer vacation. Our goal for our Summer Camp is simple. We want to provide an experience for your camper that is safe, organized, fun and full of opportunities to build great self-esteem. We want to foster and enhance friendships in every situation. Our camp is designed to offer new and challenging experiences that an enrich the lives of children ages five (completed kindergarten) through age fourteen (completed eighth grade) as well as provide “Peace of Mind” for the parents of our school.

Summer Camp with Brighton Schools is a wonderful adventure. We specialize in a high energy, creative and a hands-on program that keeps our campers active and happy all day long.

Each camper belongs to an age-appropriate group for the entire summer. Their group and leaders share great experiences, build a solid team and work together to create super memories.

While our campers are here at the center, they will engage in terrific planned activities we call our components. Projects based on the weekly theme will provide fantastic creative outlets.

Different mediums will be explored in Arts & Crafts. Skits will be performed in Drama. Our Sports Component is a great avenue for all sorts of games, teambuilding and gross motor advancement (particularly with the Ernie Sheldon Youth Sports Complex at our disposal). In Science, campers will experiment, predict and observe the wonders of our universe.

When our campers are not in components or on a field trip, chances are they are involved in a special activity. Parties, Carnivals, Water Play, Obstacle Courses, and Scavenger Hunts are examples of events that, together with their leaders, our campers have the chance to help plan, prepare for and enjoy. Sorry, the snow cones and cotton candy can make for some pretty messy campers!

We love to have visitors, so each week we meet someone new. And they always bring something great to see and do. Our Special Guests often involve magicians, DJs, animal experts, science demonstrations, dance shows and more.

Brighton Schools - Did we mention our theme days? Crazy Hair, Backwards Day, Color Day, Movie Star Day - sound like fun? They are, and just wait until you see all of the Group Leaders getting into the action. Brighton Schools - summer camp makes kids happy.

Twice a week we take a journey out and about. Field trips are the best! To keep cool in the summer heat, our campers will visit the Folsom Aquatic Center weekly. In addition to swimming, other adventures such as rock climbing, roller skating, bowling and horseback riding are also parts of their week.

Brighton Schools - Our staff are trained, experienced, fun-loving professionals. You and your child will get to know and love our Group Leaders. Each Group Leader brings a wealth of creativity, inspiration and ownership to our program. All of our staff are involved in the creation, preparation and implementation of the program – they are truly the heart and soul of our Summer Camp!
